The school has a special educational needs policy, which follows the procedures set out in the S.E.N. Code of Practice. In consultation with parents any initial concerns about a child’s progress are recorded and a set of monitoring procedures are followed. We work closely with the school’s educational psychologist who visits regularly to offer advice to staff and parents, recommends learning materials and teaching methods or suggests specialist help or extra support. If parents are concerned about any aspect of their child’s development they can request a meeting through the Headteacher.
